
Two Killed in Fiery Crash on I-80 Near Green River
Two Californians are dead following a rear-end collision on Interstate 80, the Wyoming Highway Patrol says.
Crash Details
The crash happened around 5:20 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, near Green River.

According to a fatality crash summary, 36-year-old Aleksey Fedun was behind the wheel of an eastbound Volvo combination unit when he left his lane of travel and rear-ended a Freightliner combination unit that was stopped on the south shoulder, rupturing the fuel tank and causing a significant fire in the Volvo's cab.
Sadly, Fedun and his passenger, 74-year-old Volodymyr Fedun, didn't survive the crash. The other trucker was uninjured.
