Heavy Snow, Strong Winds, Possible In SE Wyoming Mountains

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra Madre and Snowy Range Mountains in southeast Wyoming;

That's according to information the agency posted on its website:

 '' A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Snowy and Sierra Madre Ranges from 9 AM Sunday to 5 PM Tuesday. Heavy snow is expected. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 18 inches for the Sierra Madre Range, with 10 to 16 inches for the Snowy Range. Winds will gust up to 60 mph. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Blowing snow will reduce visibility. Hikers and snowmobilers may easily become disoriented and lost due to the very poor visibility.'''
