Team Traveled To Indianapolis, Tulsa Competitions

Rosner went on to outline the team's recent competitions :

"These girls have been on this Horse Judging team for several years where they have competed in both 4-H and FFA. Last week they went to Tulsa Oklahoma for 4-H and competed in the Arabian Nationals and they won Reserve champion with several individual placings. Then this week we traveled to Indianapolis to National FFA where they were a Gold emblem team and placed 5th overall in the nation. For FFA they take one team from each state so they had 50 other teams they competed against. These girls have spent countless hours practicing, judging and preparing for this."

"Oklahoma they competed Oct 23- 25th Indianapolis was October 29th-31st."

The nature of local news coverage is that quite often bad news gets the coverage. Car wrecks, crime, fires and the like. Those things are news and need to be covered.

But it's nice once in a while to shed the spotlight on something positive. We want to congratulate these young ladies for their hard work and dedication!
