Much of southeast Wyoming is under a Heat Advisory until 8 a.m. on Monday, July 15, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.

The advisory includes Cheyenne and Casper, but not Laramie

The agency posted the following on its website:

A Heat Advisory has been issued for much of southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska through the weekend. Temperatures in excess of 95F are likely across the higher elevations with temperatures in excess of 100F are likely across the plains. Take extra precautions if working or spending time outside this weekend and make sure to drink plenty of water!
