For those who may have slept through history class, the term ''speakeasy" rose to prominence during prohibition to mean an illicit establishment serving liquor.

What Is A Speakeasy?

The term came about because patrons and bartenders kept a low profile and tried to avoid attracting too much attention to what was, after all, an illegal enterprise at the time. That often meant keeping the volume of conversation down--or speaking quietly or "easy."

While the new Ghostbar is certainly not an illicit liquor outlet, you do need to be a member of the Lincoln Cheyenne Membership Program to imbibe there.

The Lincoln describes it this way on Instagram: We’re excited to unveil Ghostbar, our ultra-exclusive speakeasy bar, open only to members of the Lincoln Cheyenne Membership Program. Hidden behind an unmarked door, this intimate cocktail haven offers expertly crafted drinks, vintage vibes, and a taste of something truly special—just for you.:

The post says individual memberships cost $20 per month, while premium memberships are $50. Besides being able to imbibe at the Ghostbar, memberships entitle you to free tickets to shows and a 20 percent discount on merchandise.

Pennies You'll Wish You'd Picked up

While the common perception of pennies is that they are practically worthless, some pennies, particularly older ones or those with errors, can be very valuable to collectors. For example, certain error coins and varieties, especially from the early years, can fetch hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
