Partial Laramie Street Closure Expected Over Next Few Days
The west side of Lewis Street in Laramie is expected to be closed over the next week or so, according to a news release from the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
According to the release, crews with WYDOT and Knife River Construction are replacing curb and gutter as well as adding Americans With Disabilities Act upgrades to the sidewalk.
Work On Two Other Streets Is Also Planned
According to the release, work will also be done on Clark Street and Fremont Street, but no closures are expected related to that work.
The release says Knife River will be bringing in a couple of concrete crews to speed things up on the project.
In the words of the release "Motorists are encouraged to obey all posted signs, flaggers and other traffic control and avoid distractions like cell phones while driving through work zones."
The project is subject to delay caused by weather conditions.
