The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for areas of southeast Wyoming as well as parts of the Nebraska Panhandle.

As of 3 p.m., the watch area included Laramie, Goshen and Platte counties. Cheyenne and Wheatland were included.
