Severe Thunderstorms With Large Hail Possile Today, Hot This Weekend
Southeast Wyoming residents could see more severe storms this afternoon and evening ahead of a heat wave that will bring temperatures into the 90s over the next few days.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:
"Scattered severe thunderstorms are expected between 3 and 7 PM today for the Nebraska Panhandle. Lingering showers are possible until 9pm. For Southeastern Wyoming there is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorm along and east of the I-25 corridor between 1pm to 6pm. Main threats are gusty winds up to 65mph and hail sized up to 1.25 inches."
