Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Southeast Wyoming
Southeast Wyoming residents face one more day of possible severe storms on Friday before warmer temperatures and windy weather take center stage on Saturday.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for southeast Wyoming for this afternoon:

That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on it's Facebook page for this afternoon:
Our thunderstorm risk has increased to slight today (2 of 5). Storms are expected to develop during the early afternoon around the I-25 corridor and continue eastwards through the evening hours, with large hail and damaging winds the primary hazards. Most likely corridor for severe weather will be along the Wyoming/Nebraska border through the Nebraska Panhandle.

Here is what forecasters are predicting for Saturday, June 27:
Saturday is looking to be a mostly clear, warm, and windy day. Highs in the mid 70s to low 90s depending on where you are. Winds increase in the afternoon with gusts to 40-50 mph possible in the western and northern counties. An isolated late afternoon thunderstorm can't be ruled out in the Panhandle. Overnight winds subside and the skies clear up.
