Southeast Wyoming residents can expect a fairly nice week this week, culminating in cooler, wetter weather towards the weekend.

That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:

Daily, albeit low, precipitation chances expected this week with isolated to widely scattered showers and storms. Temperatures will be warm, in the 70s and 80s with the occasional 90s. Partly to mostly cloudy skies expected every afternoon ahead of any shower and storm chances.

Wyoming Honor Farm Wild Horse Program

Just outside of Riverton, inmates and horses have been working together since 1988. Inmate trainers work to make horses and wild burros gentle and catchable. They will put halters on the horses and begin to ride some of them, which are then available for adoption throoughout the year.
