
Cool, Wet Weather Expected In SE Wyoming Through Tuesday
It looks like the first day of fall on Monday will bring cooler, wetter weather to southeast Wyoming, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.
The agency posted the following on it's website: "Monday and Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and cooler with scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the mid 60s to upper 70s on Monday, with mid 50s to near 70 degrees on Tuesday. Sunny skies are expected on Wednesday, with highs from the mid 60s to mid 70s."

The fires in 1988 burned 793,800 acres, 39% of Yellowstone's 2.2 million acres. After 30 years most of the parks lodgepole pines destroyed in 1988 have regenerated and are thriving.
