
6-12 Inches Of Snow Expected In SE Wyoming Mountains,
After a stretch of unseasonably warm temperatures. southeast Wyoming residents are bracing for an unsettled weather pattern this week, including a storm system towards mid-week.
Meanwhile a Winter Weather Advisory has been posted for the Snowy Range and Sierra Madre mountain ranges into Monday evening.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on it's website:
Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for the Snowy and Sierra Madre Ranges beginning this evening and continuing through the day Monday. Snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are expected with locally higher amounts possible above 10,000 feet. Outdoor recreation could become dangerous to those caught unprepared for hazardous winter conditions. Snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches will be possible around the Arlington area which could make travel difficult. A dusting will be possible for other lower elevation areas west of the Laramie Range.
