Jason Aldean Remains at No. 1 With ‘Take a Little Ride’ for Third Week in a Row
There is just no slowing Jason Aldean down! This week, the singer’s latest chart-topping hit, ‘Take a Little Ride,’ can tally a third week atop the country singles chart, keeping Aldean’s streak of No. 1 singles going strong.
‘Take a Little Ride’ is the singer’s sixth-consecutive chart-topper. It follows other highly successful hits in ‘My Kinda Party,’ ‘Don’t You Wanna Stay,’ ‘Dirt Road Anthem,’ ‘Tattoos on This Town’ and ‘Fly Over States.’
The song’s No. 1 position also marks yet another chart-topper for the song’s three writers — Rodney Clawson, Dylan Altman and Jim McCormick — all of whom have celebrated successful hit singles in 2012. The tune is the first release from Aldean’s forthcoming ‘Night Train’ album, which hits stores on Tuesday, Oct. 16.
Working up the Top 10 this week are songs from Carrie Underwood (‘Blown Away’), Dustin Lynch (‘Cowboys and Angels’), Lee Brice (‘Hard to Love’), Easton Corbin (‘Lovin’ You Is Fun’), Miranda Lambert (‘Fastest Girl in Town’), Jake Owen (‘The One That Got Away’) and Luke Bryan (‘Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye’).
