Marketing director for the Paramount Arts Center, Jenny Holmes has announced that a make up date will be made as soon as possible.

As we reported earlier, Miss Lynn has had a series of health issues, from heat exhaustion to knee replacement surgery in September. The iconic singer was forced to ask her audience for permission to perform sitting down at a Buffalo, New York concert earlier this year.

The latest postponement of Loretta's appearances was announced on the website of the Paramount Arts Center.

Loretta's website also had an announcement of the cancellation:

"Loretta regretfully must cancel her shows for Ashland, KY and Durham, NC for this weekend, due to illness," it said. "Doctors have diagnosed her at the beginning stages (of) pneumonia, and (she) will continue to need rest. Loretta is doing well and is disappointed, but feels confident she will be ready for upcoming November dates."

I'm sure that everyone joins with me in hoping the 76 year old country star is on the mend very, very soon and that her health returns to its robust norm.  We will be watching developments in the situration and will keep you updated as her people release more details.  Health issues are, of course, private and the release of any details on her part will be up to Miss Lynn.
