Luke Bryan Helps Raise More Than 100K for Charity in Advance of 2019 NFL Draft
Luke Bryan joined ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit and Music City, Inc., to host a charity fundraiser on Wednesday night (April 24) in Nashville that raised more than $100,000 for four Music City charities.
The event took place at Bryan's 32 Bridge Food + Drink honky-tonk venue in downtown Nashville, where guests got to participate in VIP meet & greets, engage in a question-and-answer session with Bryan and Herbstreit and take in a surprise performance from Bryan.
The fundraiser ended up raising $30,000 each for the Predators Foundation, Tennessee Golf Foundation, Titans Foundation and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The event took place in advance of the 2019 NFL Draft, which will see a number of special activities happening in downtown Nashville over the next few days.
Bryan is slated to join ABC’s prime-time coverage of the NFL Draft live from Nashville on 2019 NFL Draft on ABC, which airs beginning at 8PM on Thursday (April 25). Bryan will join Herbstreit, Robin Roberts from Good Morning America, ESPN’s Rece Davis and the entire College GameDay Built by the Home Depot live on set from the heart of Music City for the broadcast.
Tim McGraw is also booked for events, performing on the Draft Main Stage in downtown Nashville on Friday (April 26) after all of the day's picks have been made. He's just one of more than 20 artists who are scheduled to perform over the 2019 NFL Draft's three days (April 25-27). Dierks Bentley will take the stage on Saturday (April 27) in the same slot. The twentieth running of St. Jude Rock ‘n’ Roll Nashville Marathon & Half Marathon will also take place April 27-28, and Bentley's concert will double as the traditional headlining concert for the marathon's participants on Saturday.
Former Nashville star Charles Esten, Charlie Worsham, Striking Matches and Willie Jones are among the acts also set to appear over the three days of the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville.
