Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Blake Shelton joined forces for a legendary performance at the 2014 Grammys on Sunday (Jan. 26), and boy, did they deliver.

Country fans have been waiting for this all-star performance ever since it was announced. It was a medley of some truly classic country songs -- Nelson and Kristofferson kicked off the performance with 'Highwayman,' strumming their acoustic guitars with the talent they've honed over many years of practice.

After a bit, Haggard and Shelton joined the pair for 'Okie From Muskogee' and soon, the stage was crowded with some of country music's greatest, young and younger.

Their different choices in style were really interesting to see. Shelton was the most polished in a suit, while the other three legends were significantly more dressed down. Nelson, of course, had his signature braids in their plaits, and the three older singers brought more classic country outfits to the performance.

The last song in the group's 2014 Grammys set was 'Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys.' Needless to say, it was an all-star cast and a great performance; they received a standing ovation from the crowd and successfully brought country to the 2014 Grammys!
