Second Arrest Made In Connection With Cheyenne Shooting
A second person has been arrested in connection with a shooting death near Cheyenne last weekend, according to a spokeswoman for the Laramie County Sheriff's Department.
Meanwhile, investigators are still trying to track down another 21-year-old Cheyenne man in connection with the killing of 19-year-old Justin Robinson of Cheyenne last weekend. Gesell on Friday said 21-year-old Erick Aguilar of Cheyenne has been arrested on charges of being an accessory after the fact of first-degree homicide.
Gesell says Aguilar has admitted he knew 21-year-old Armando Raul Ramirez-Serna was involved in Robinson's killing and was wanted by law enforcement. But Gesell says Aguilar still helped Ramirez-Serna by giving him rides around Cheyenne.
Meanwhile, the search for Ramirez-Serna (shown in above photo) continues. Gesell says he may now have shorter hair than in the above photo, with the area around his bangs now being in the shape of a ''V''.
Another witness has told investigators that Ramirez-Serna may have burns on the right side of his face underneath his right eye and on his forehead above his right eye. He was last seen wearing light colored blue jeans, a black hoodie with orange stitching, and a black undershirt with black Nike Jordan tennis shoes.
Gesell says anyone who sees Ramirez-Serna should not approach him, but should immediately call 911. Robinson's body was found in a reservoir on the Hereford Ranch on Sunday afternoon.
Investigators say he had died of a single gunshot wound. A burned out-vehicle found on Burlington Trail Road may be connected to the case as well.
