Shoplifter Injures Cheyenne C-Store Clerk, Flees on Bike [PHOTOS]

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a Hispanic man accused of shoplifting from a Cheyenne convenience store.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says the man stole a jacket from the Big D at 100 N. Greeley Highway on Jan. 30.

"A clerk at the store sustained an injury while trying to catch the suspect," said Malatesta. "The suspect fled on a bicycle, but left us these great photos of himself."

Anyone who recognizes the man or knows his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS.

Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
