Thanks to an agreement between Learfield Sports and DIRECTV Sports Networks, parent company of ROOT SPORTS, six University of Wyoming men’s basketball games not previously slated for television, will now be aired as part of a 14-game Mountain West Conference men’s basketball package to be broadcast on ROOT SPORTS.

The six UW games include the Colorado at Wyoming match-up on December 1st and five games in the conference. Five of the six games are at the Arena-Auditorium.

Also on the schedule for TV games are the MW opener, January 9, versus Boise State, home games game against Air Force on January 26 and New Mexico on January 30, the road game at New Mexico on March 2 and the regular season finale at home against Colorado State.

The Wyoming Cowboys open the 2012-2013 season officially this Saturday night, when they host Western State at the Arena-Auditorium. Tip-off is at 8 pm.
