In addition to her powerhouse country music career, Taylor Swift has been slowly dipping her toe into the waters of acting. Most recently, she starred as the voice of Audrey in the Dr. Seuss film ‘The Lorax,’ but the blonde starlet has had a significant taste of the big screen in her young career. In 2010, she portrayed a high school student in love in the flick ‘Valentine’s Day.’

Craig Morgan is getting ready to add one more career accomplishment to his ongoing list — actor! This coming weekend (Sunday, March 18), Morgan will make his prime time debut when he appears on the hit drama TV series ‘Army Wives.’

Aside from his multi-platinum country music career, you could say Trace Adkins has dabbled in the arts in a way. He wrote and released his own autobiography in 2007, and he’s made appearance on several television shows as well. To top that, Adkins can be seen acting in a variety of films, including 2008′s ‘An American Carol’ and 2011′s ‘The Lincoln Lawyer.’

Dwight Yoakam was slated to play the part of the villain in the upcoming film ‘The Lone Ranger,’ but he has just walked away from the role due to conflicts in his schedule. The film — which has a celebrity cast of Johnny Depp as the American Indian Tonto, Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger and Tom Wilkinson as the evil railroad tycoon Latham Cole — will still go on without him.
