The 2013 Albany County Fair starts Wednesday, July 24th.

Pig wrestling took center ring at the 2012 Albany County Fair Thursday night. Teams of four in four different categories went head to head with each other and head to snout with some stubborn pigs all in the name of good fun.

Rowdy's Hope in Motion will draw the winner of a 1996 Corvette on Saturday at the Junior Livestock Sale. The Corvette raffle will benefit farm, ranch and rodeo families.

For many kids and their families, the county fair is one of the best parts of summer. Whether they are there to compete or just to cheer on their friends, going to the fair is a community tradition for Albany County.

The Albany County Fair will be presenting a night of pig wrestling on Thursday August 2nd, with a calcutta before hand.

A free night of family fun will begin at 4 PM on Tuesday at the Albany County Fairgrounds with Family Night at the Fair. Albany County Fair Board President Linda Johnson says that every booth will be offering something free for people who stop by.

It’s time for the 2012 Albany County Fair. This is when kids get to show off projects they’ve been working on, animals they’ve been raising and have a good time with their family and friends. And let’s not forget about the pig wrestling.
