The Laramie City Council will decide whether to approve a loan agreement between the Wyoming Business Council and the city for Laramie-based Bright Agrotech’s new headquarters in Laramie during their meeting Tuesday night.

The Laramie Chamber Business Alliance plans on recouping $695,000 in lease payments from Bright Agrotech, and will put those funds toward future economic development opportunities.

The new headquarters would be built on a 3.85-acre lot in the Laramie River Business Park, provided by the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance.

“We definitely have to do what’s right for the business,” says Storey. “We think that what’s right for the business right now is to do whatever we can to stay in Laramie.”
