Cheyenne East's Derrick Murphy Jr. has been chosen as the Gatorade Wyoming Boys Track and Field Player of the Year for 2025-26. He is the third boys from East to receive this honor.

Caroline Brokaw from Jackson, Cheyenne East’s Colin Crecelius, and Sheridan’s Eli Balkenbush were chosen as the recipients.

Both won the first state title of their prep career, and both completed undefeated seasons.

She will also be on the cheer team for the Tigers
