As we are just in the first 'official' days of summer, there have already been a couple of closures for restaurants in Laramie. It was just yesterday that a popular spot near the University of Wyoming announced it would be shutting its doors (at least for now), but another popular spot located in downtown Laramie will be closing down for the time being.
It is always sad having to mention any business that is forced to close its doors to the public for any reason whatsoever. It is especially a tough thing having to mention a particular spot that has quite the presence within the Laramie community. Not only that, but its proximity to the campus of the University of Wyoming.

The Albany County Commissioners voted to approve a letter of support to commit to exploring local funding options to support Laramie County Community College's assumption of WyoTech operations and instructional buildings during a special meeting on Friday.
The Albany County Commissioners will be hosting a public special meeting tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. in the commissioner’s chambers to discuss the prospectus put forth by Laramie County Community College to assume the WyoTech operations.
“We have three branch locations all within a mile and a half of each other,” Uitterdyk said. “Laramie is not that big, so having three full-service branches was not the best use of our member’s money.”
