Only two squads were in competition this past weekend from Laramie’s Olympic sports. Both were on the road.

For the second straight year, the Laramie Plainsmen are the kings of Wyoming 4A high school cross country. Led by Senior Jonah Henry's win in the 5K race, the Plainsmen captured their second consecutive team crown at the Wyoming State High School Cross Country Championships Saturday in Sheridan.

Senior Garrett Zans and junior Holly Page swept the individual races to help the University of Wyoming men's and women's cross country teams capture both team titles at the Utah Valley Invitational on Friday at Lakeside Park. Sophomore Amos Bowen and junior Holly Page collected top-five finishes individually to pace the University of Wyoming cross country teams at the Colorado State Invitational on Friday night at Hughes Stadium.
