Sendgen Springer denied knowing the bills were counterfeit

Bill Blanchard, 53, was arrested on June 19 after the Laramie Police and the United States Secret Service investigated reports of counterfeit bills being used in a number of different Laramie businesses.

Gaines assisted her mother, Donna Perez, in altering the written word ‘one’ into ‘four’ on the check, according to court documents.

The officer reportedly learned that the church gave a check to Perez to help pay her rent.

Each crime is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Cheyenne Police are seeking the public's help in locating a woman suspected of felony fraud and forgery as well as stealing a vehicle.

A Laramie County Jail inmate is dead following an apparent suicide.

"He can either take this opportunity or he can start spending his life in prison," said Britzius.

"If you want to see your kids again, if you want to lead a normal life for the rest of your life, you'd better start today," Donnell said.

"I look forward to hearing your explanation for this one," said Donnell. "I'm sure it'll be a dandy."

Cheyenne Police are searching for a man and woman tied to a burglary and forgery that occurred at The Peppermill Bar and Wal-Mart on the night of March 3.
