Ghost Town

While considered to be in the middle of nowhere today, at the time it was an important and bustling little community.

Like many Western towns, things did not always go as planned.

These towns are not dead - yet.

She goes by Wonderhussy. No idea why she picked that as a YouTube name and I'm not asking. Her YouTube page, Wonderhussy Adventures has 245K subscribers and her videos bring in enough views to make a TV show out of her adventures. ...

Not a ghost town YET!

Gold Rush Days in South Pass City, Wyoming will transport you straight to the late 1800s. Every year, people come from far and wide to celebrate the once-bustlin' little mining town. The festivities include reenactments of the pony express, gun fights, and an old baseball-game in antiquated uniform...

Few people remember this town.

I like to be a champion for spreading the word not only about the Wyoming we know and love, but the Wyoming we used to be. That's one reason I find it compelling when I come across adventurers that share their experiences in what's left of our ghost towns. That includes a video of Miner's Delight, Wyoming.

I have always known that Wyoming was rich in history, but I never realized that Amelia Earhart was an important part of it. I have uncovered video of what have been Amelia's Wyoming log cabin near the Wood River.

If only these lonely streets could talk. An adventurer has shared video of Piedmont, Wyoming that is now a ghost town, but used to have 4 saloons.
