Indoor Track and Field

The winners were chosen by their fellow WCA coaches. They will be recognized this summer in Casper.

Thunder Basin senior Grace Miller and Cheyenne East junior Dayton Rhoades got the awards based on their performances at the indoor track state championships last month.

The honor went to individuals who finished in the top two of events or were part of a winning relay at the 2026 Wyoming High School Indoor Track State Championships.

Thirty teams are competing in two classifications at this year’s state championships.

There are two indoor track meets on one day. Gillette and Laramie host the competitions.

Over 20 Wyoming High Schools will have an individual competing in this year's Simplot Games.

Week 4 of the Wyoming High School indoor track season has one big meet in the state.

Three total events will have high school student-athletes from the Cowboy State. Gillette and Laramie hold the two in-state track meets.

Natrona County seniors Evie Crawford and Champ Ransom, plus Laramie senior Kate Lewis, and Rock Springs senior Koen Asper were the winners based on last week’s performances.
