RAWLINS, Wyo. (AP) - A Utah man has been sentenced to 45 days in jail for fatally striking a highway construction worker near Elk Mountain.

Court documents show Hoyt pleaded guilty to felony child endangerment in February 2015, for smoking methamphetamine in August 2014 with a girl who was 17 years old at the time.

"This society is sick and tired of sex offenders, and it is sick and tired of people who refuse to comply," said Donnell.
