The lockdowns have now been lifted.

In-person classes are cancelled, district buildings are closed and buses will not run.

Farkas says the case remains under investigation.

The LCSD#1 resolution follows the recent passage of an anti-harassment ordinance by the Cheyenne City Council.

The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says Cheyenne could get 8 inches or more of snow.

Dr. Margaret Crespo says the nature of the stop is a personnel matter and that the district can't comment.

Board members voted on Monday night to make the masks voluntary as of Jan. 24, although their use will still be encouraged.

The district on Friday reported that 59 students and seven staff members have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past week, two more cases than the previous week.
