Little Jimmy Dickens will begin radiation treatments on his vocal chords this week (July 10). Before the big day, he received a pile of fan letters that may be taller than he is.
Little Jimmy Dickens, one of the Grand Ole Opry's most recognizable stars since he became a member in 1948, will continue to miss shows as he undergoes radiation treatments on his vocal cords. A release from the Opry says the treatments are for a pre-cancerous condition.
