Lock It or Lose It

'Tis the season for car break-ins, and Cheyenne police are reminding last-minute Christmas shoppers to "Lock It or Lose It."

In an effort to prevent property crime, Cheyenne police are launching a 10-day public awareness campaign reminding citizens to "Lock It or Lose It."

Farkas says the department has responded to 76 stolen vehicle reports in the past three months, a 45 percent increase from the same period last year.
