Most of southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle can expect to see moderate to heavy snow early next week, as a potent winter storm is forecast to wallop the region.
Snow continues to be in the forecast this week, but the National Weather Service in Cheyenne says the best chance for the white stuff looks to be Wednesday afternoon into the evening hours.
Lingering travel impacts could last as long as Thursday across many portions of the region and even Friday for portions of I-80 west of Laramie to Rawlins.
