Awards were presented in 14 categories, including the Medal of Valor, the highest decoration awarded by the Cheyenne Police Department.

More than 60 Cheyenne police employees were recognized for their achievements during the department's annual awards ceremony Wednesday.

A total of 80 awards were handed out to CPD employees, with a few people winning multiple awards.
