Laramie residents joined together to honor the anti-fascism protesters who were injured during the protests in Charlottesville and to stand in solidarity against fascism and white supremacy.

University of Wyoming students and members of the Laramie community will hold a rally and candlelight vigil this weekend to stand in solidarity and remember the woman, Heather Heyer, who was killed in Charlottesville, VA during protests there.

"Today we are trying to get across for people to go to our local school boards to tell them, 'look, we are here, we here in support of the transgender community, we need to be able to let out transgender students use the bathroom that represents their gender identity," Vali said.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Leaders of the Cheyenne community gathered Thursday to honor the victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting.

The Cheyenne LGBT community along with friends and allies will gather at the Cheyenne Depot Plaza at 7 p.m. tonight in support of those affected by the Orlando shooting.

“With our victory tonight in Wisconsin, we have now won seven out of eight of the last caucuses,” said Sanders.

Tuesday's Global Climate March began with a rally in the Alice Hardy Stevens Center at 5 p.m.  The event was held to spread awareness of climate change and what people in the Laramie community can do to make a difference.
