She led her Outlaw team to a 3A state championship and a couple of 2nd place finishes.

For the fourth consecutive year, Sydney Thorvaldson from Rawlins High School is the Gatorade Wyoming Cross Country Player of the Year.

Thorvaldson is a University of Arkansas signee with an extremely bright future.

It was a weekend split at home for the two Laramie High School basketball teams. They defeated Rawlins, but both lost to Douglas.
