Torrington police are now recommending murder and burglary charges against a man accused in an April 20 crime spree that left a young woman dead.

Police say a 20-year-old Torrington woman is dead following a Tuesday morning crime spree in the community.

A suspect is in custody after Torrington police say a string of crimes were committed in the community, including a homicide.

A 29-year-old Denver, Colorado man was arrested Sunday after leading authorities on a chase through southeast Wyoming at speeds of more than 100 mph.

Torrington police are reminding residents to stay vigilant after an unspecified threat was emailed to a staff member at Eastern Wyoming College.

The driver of the Nissan, a 68-year-old man whose name has not been released, was unconscious in the vehicle.
