As part of the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl week of activities, Wyoming football players spent a few hours at a Boise-area veterans hospital visiting with injured men and women that have served our country.
The event, which is free and open to the public, was created to spread awareness about mental health and suicide prevention among military veterans and current service members.
According to the Governor's press release issued Wednesday, the program provided tuition assistance to 162 veterans at Wyoming's seven community colleges and the University of Wyoming.
