The honors go to the top two finishers in individual events at the state track meet or those who were part of a victorious relay.

Our breakdown ahead of the 2026 Wyoming High School Track and Field State Championships in Casper from May 21 through May 23.

At regionals, the top eight in individual events and the top four in relays will qualify for next week’s state track meet in Casper.

All 15 track meets on the schedule are in the Cowboy State this week.

Just two weeks remain in the regular season, as teams begin to look towards regionals and state in mid-May.

There are 12 track meets in the Cowboy State. One has already been postponed to later in the season.

The schedule features 16 track meets in the Cowboy State in a variety of formats.

There are six events in the state on Friday or Saturday. The two largest track meets will be in Cheyenne and Glenrock.

Six Wyoming prep athletes from three high schools in the Cowboy State are competing in the 2026 track meet.

Most schools are not in competition over the upcoming holiday weekend. That means Thursday will be a busy day, weather-permitting.

Several teams make their season debut around the state and region. Six track meets will be in the state.
