The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for much of southeast Wyoming, parts of the Nebraska panhandle and northern Colorado. The cities of Cheyenne and Laramie are included in this advisory. The advisory is in effect from Wednesday morning (February 6) until Thursday morning.

"A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving."

MST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Snow will develop around noon Wednesday. Total snow
  accumulations of 2 to 4 inches expected with locally higher
  amounts.

* WHERE...Eastern plains of southeast Wyoming and
  western Nebraska.

* WHEN...From 9 AM Wednesday to 6 AM MST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slick and snow-packed roads. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
  commute.
