Wyoming Fashion Was Totally Rad in the 1980s [Gallery]
If, like me, you grew up in the 1980s, it's totally obvious. We looked super cool. Take for example, this righteous dude and his hottie homecoming date, who probably went through a gallon of Aqua Net every week.
Of course, it's easy to say how bitchin' our style was. Let the pictures speak for themselves. Check out this gallery, which totally proves that our generation was, by far, the best looking era of all time.
This Cheyenne family was stylin' in 1986. Dad's rad beard and Mom's sweet perm were totally boss.
Governor Mike Sullivan was a stylish dude, as evidenced by this photo, taken in front of a U-Haul truck in 1988.
The students at UW in Laramie had some pretty cool mustaches back in the day. Like this dude protesting at the "No MX Missle Rally" in 1980.
At Cheyenne Central High School, the guys in the Class of 1982 looked almost as cool as the girls.
Nice shades.
Based on this picture with Miss Teen Wyoming in 1985, Governor Ed Herschler must have liked the big hair.
Senator Allan Simpson was also a fan of 80s fashion. Here he is showing off his famous coin trick to a group of high school students in 1986.
Luckily, the awesomely bold fashion statements made by high school students in the 80s influenced the next generation. Like this group of students from Henderson Elementary School in Cheyenne, circa 1989.
