Wyoming Firefighters Rescue Drunk Man Stuck On Third Floor Balcony
It's a long way to the top. And even longer on the way down. A drunk man in Gillette, Wyo. learned that lesson the hard way last weekend, when he got stuck on a third-floor balcony after attempting to climb a building.
Just after midnight on Saturday, January 26th, Campbell County Firefighters rescued the man, who had scaled the side of the structure before stranding himself in a drunken stupor, according to County 17.
Luckily, neighbors heard his cries for help and emergency personnel used a ladder to carry the man to safety. After bringing him down, the man was charged with public intoxication, disturbing the peace, and destruction of property.
For the heroic firefighters, it's all in a day's work. Whether it's a cat stuck in a tree or a drunk guy stuck on a balcony, they help keep our communities safe.
