The Wyoming State 4-H Foundation makes available many scholarships of varying amounts each year.  This latest round of awards totalled over 28,000 dollars, according the to foundation director.

Steve Mack, Foundation Director announced the awards recently. According to a news release from the University of Wyoming Extension office, these latest scholarships are in addition to 36,000 dollars already awarded being used for continuing scholarships.

In addition to the initial scholarship awards, recipients can see their funding increase depending on their Grade Point Averages and progress.

When discussing Albany County 4-h members receiving awards, Colby Hales received the 500 dollar scholarship from Murdoch's Ranch and Home supply.

4 H is for all youths in Albany County between the ages of 8 and 18.  The total of participants in Wyoming, (including adult participation) is over 11,000.
