Chad Callihan Named New Wyoming Cowgirl Volleyball Coach
Chad Callihan has been hired as the new head coach of the University of Wyoming women’s volleyball program. Callihan becomes the 13th head volleyball coach in Cowgirl history. He replaces Carrie Yerty, who resigned on May 3.

Cowboy Football Two Practices in to Spring Drills
The Wyoming Cowboys conducted their second spring practice on Wednesday morning with the emphasis continuing on fundamentals and increasing the pace of practice. Fifth-year Wyoming head coach Dave Christensen liked the improvement of his team from day one to day two of spring drills, but still emphasized after practice the need for his team to continue to improve each and every day of the Cowboys’ 15 spring practices.
Leonard Washington Garners All-District Honor
Wyoming senior forward Leonard Washington has been named to the All-District 17 Second Team, as announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). The award is voted on by member coaches of the NABC and this year a total of 242 student-athletes from 24 districts were honored. Washington earned the accolade for a second-straight season.
Wyoming Cowgirl Chaundra Sewell Earns Big Distinction
For the first time in her career, senior Chaundra Sewell was among four individuals selected to the WBCA All-Region VII Team announced Tuesday by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. This is the first time a Cowgirl has garnered this honor since Hanna Zavecz in 2008.
