University of Wyoming Sports Properties, a property of Learfield Sports, and Townsquare Media announced Tuesday a new five-year extension that will continue the relationship between University of Wyoming Athletics, KOWB-AM and KCGY-FM of Laramie. KOWB and KCGY will continue to broadcast Cowboy and Cowgirl games through the 2015-16 seasons.

KOWB 1290 AM will carry the game broadcasts of Cowboy Football and Cowgirl Basketball, as well as airing Wyoming Basketball Radio Coaches’ Shows. KOWB will also air the daily “Wyoming Sports Today” shows hosted by the “Voice of the Cowboys” Dave Walsh.

Cowboy Basketball games and the Cowboy Footbal Radio Coaches' Show will continue to be carried on KCGY 95.1 FM.

The Cowboy Sports Network includes 25 affiliates throughout the states of Wyoming and South Dakota according to a release from the University of Wyoming.
