Nominees for the 48th annual Academy of Country Music Awards were announced earlier this week. The winners will be announced at the ACM Awards show in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7th on CBS.

Among the many A-listers attending were Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, 'Dancing With the Stars' beauty Julianne Hough and, of course, Entertainer of the Year winner Taylor Swift.
Miranda Lambert leads everyone when it comes to nominations from the Academy of Country Music. She has received seven, (that's right, seven) including Top Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year.
The American Country Music Awards will air on CBS this coming April and they have announced a few of the nominees for top new artist. Several of the nominations for top new duo were announced as well.
