There are always those that love the snow, because it signals hunting season. Others enjoy the outdoor sports, but there are always those that hate everything about winter. So the question is: which group do you fall under?
According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, three to six inches of snow is expected in the North Snowy Range Foothills, upper North Platter River Basin, the Laramie Valley and South Laramie Range Foothills.
Folks planning on heading outside in western Wyoming on Monday night and Tuesday should prepare for sharply colder temperatures and a significant shift to winter weather, especially over the higher mountains.
Travel will be heavily impacted as slushy or snow packed roads may create hazardous driving conditions. Laramie may also experience power outages as trees weighed down with wet, heavy snow can possibly fall on power lines.
