A Level 1 Chain Law restriction is in effect for parts of Interstate 80 in Wyoming as of 5 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT).

The agency's website said the restriction was in effect between Evanston and the Bigelow Road area near Lyman. Travel conditions along much of the rest of Interstate 80 in Wyoming were also less than ideal, with slick conditions and snowfall reported.

Travel conditions along Interstate 25 were generally somewhat better, although Fog was reported in the Cheyenne area and slick conditions and snowfall were reported in parts of I-25 in northern Wyoming. You can access the WYDOT road and travel report here.
