Today The Wyoming Business Council may approve a $25 million loan for a Denver based company to move to The Cowboy State. We passed a bill to create the council seeking business like this.

Standard Alcohol wants to convert natural gas and carbon dioxide into mixed alcohols, with patented technology for a fuel additive to help engines run cleaner.

32 new jobs would pay $2.9 million in annual wages (for all local workers). Plant construction may start in early 2017 and take15 to 18 months. Southwest of Cheyenne at Swan Ranch, the plant design would be confined, with no smoke emissions.

Wyoming Business Council agrees it's a win for all. Governor Mead is on that council. Now about that loan, expect news soon.
