Do You Listen To Audiobooks More Than You Read? [POLL]
I made the switch, mostly out of necessity. I've always loved reading, and I do still enjoy curling up with a good book, but my life has gotten so busy that finding the time to read has become difficult. So instead, I listen to audiobooks- almost constantly. I'll have one downloaded for a long road trip, or when I'm cleaning my house, or taking my dog for a walk, etc.
A study by Pew Research says that Americans, by and large, still read physical books more than they listen to audiobooks or even read ebooks. In fact, their study says that, as of 2018, 1 in 5 Americans were listening to audiobooks, with 1 in 4 reading ebooks, and a whopping 67 percent still reading physical, printed books.
Where do you fall on the list? Are you a physical book purist? Are you like me and find the convenience of audiobooks to keep you going during a busy day? Do you not do either? Let us know in the poll below.
